This maternity session is hands down one of my absolute favorites. The colors, the lighting, the neon greens of the beginning of spring. I highly recommend playing with harsh lighting in a botanical garden. It offers a specific kind of depth and whimsy you don't usually find with even lighting.

The Florida Institute of Technology did a wonderful job with this garden on their campus. There are a variety of places to sit and enjoy the scenery, little streams of water here and there, and paths you can wander throughout the 15 acres. Although I haven't lived in my hometown for quite a while, this location is still a staple for photography sessions whenever I visit.
